mountains and the sea, Estepona, with its unbeatable
all year round climate, makes it the chosen city of
thousands of tourists every year, and the elected
place of fixed residence for many of them.
Life
here is dominated by the sun and the Mediterranean
Sea, just a stone's throw away is the popular Playa
Cristo beach, this cove is well- renowned for its
excellent ‘Lolaila’ beach bar and as a
child friendly and sheltered bay.
Just
a leisurely stroll from the popular Estepona port
where you can enjoy a range of nautical pursuits,
a selection of lively waterfront restaurants.
On Sundays the local market is held from 10am to 3pm.
Further along from the Marina is the bustling Estepona
town where you wander around the old town , you will
find numerous street cafés, tapas bars still
serving authentic Spanish delicacies and restaurants
offering everything from fresh local catch of the
day to gourmet international cuisine.
Estepona
town itself is a hive of activity and one of the few
coastal towns that, whilst providing tourist facilities,
maintains it's original charm and character.
Exclusive Marbella and Puerto Banús, are just
25 minutes away, both boasting a lively night-life
as well as many cultural activities on offer such
as the theatre, museums and exhibitions.
Our apartment is ideally positioned within reach of
all local amenities and entertainment including being
perfectly connected by motorway to Malaga and Gibraltar
airports, which are 45 mins and 20 mins away respectively.
There
is something for everyone to do from Selwo Theme Park,
a must for safari lovers and is recommended for all
ages to Bermeja mountain Nature Reserve with it rocky
countryside famed for its Spanish fir forests a climb
to the top afford stunning views along the Costa del
sol.
Things to do in Estepona
Within the vicinity there are over 50 golf courses
from stylish Sotogrande’s Ryder cup course Valderrama
to local Estepona Golf (5 mins) and with at least
6 newly planned golf courses in the area, you will
never be short of a new one to play.
Within
the area there are a great many places to see and
things to do from the picture postcard white village
of Casares hanging onto the mountain-side, Manilva,
where traditional Spain and modern tourism co-exist
in harmony and the charming port of Duquesa which
is firm family favourite and a great place for a meal
out.
When a change of scenery is in order,
why not take a day trip to Gibraltar or the historical
cities of Seville, Jerez and Granada (you can even
go skiing for the day!).
This
apartment enjoys a peaceful location yet lies only
a few minutes from everything you might need to make
your getaway perfect. There will be a useful folder
in the apartment with suggestions for days and evenings
out.
